Fevicol is a brand of adhesive owned by Pidilite Industries and was founded in 1954 by brothers Balvant and Sushil Parekh. The company started as small traders who made pigment emulsions for textile printing, and then in 1959 they introduced Fevicol as an alternative to traditional adhesives used by woodworkers. Fevicol was designed to be user-friendly and was initially used for industrial applications, but has since expanded to 54 countries and is popular with consumers.
